Summer Plans

I have exactly 4 weeks to finish all this below. Oh, no. 3 weeks. I forgot about the camping trip. This will be the first time the 5 of us (Papa, Mama, Ben, Berek, and I) go on a family camping trip. I’ve been on some other trips (like, ah, extended family camping trips :: cough cough :: ). I’ll let you know how it goes.

HTML-ing
# SEO (Search Engine Optimization) for Berith.org (tedious, tedious, tedious details, details, details; change all the titles to H1, H2, etc.; add a bunch of extras in the head sections; add more keywords)

# Remake all the PDFs at Berith.org using the same template so they all look consistent (why do crazy Americans have to use a different paper size from the rest of the world? why can’t they use the metric system and A4 size paper like the rest of the civilized world? most of our hits are from the US, so it’s been decided that the site PDFs should go from A4 => 8/11; ARGGHH)

# Redesign vast sections of Berith.com

# Design Magnolia-EP.com from scratch (for one of the schools I work at; my first paid internet job!!)

# Design Knipfing.com from scratch (for Genny Boy; there will be so many more of those Invincible Big Sister links on the internet :: evil laughter :: )

# Design Trinitarianism.com from scratch (for Papa)

Study
# Rewrite parts of what a number of friends call my “feminist” paper on Biblical education (parts of which will be posted right here, on this blog)

# Finish 11 workbooks for the JLP, Level 1 (Japanese Language Proficiency Test, highest level; I’ve been told if I pass this, I can go on to get a certificate for English/Japanese simultaneous interpretation, if I want to)

# Finish Basic Chinese (reading, writing, speaking) with Mama

# Decide on a college/seminary to go to next year (there are a few I’m looking into now; I’ll feel so much better once this gets cleared up)

Miscellaneous
# Re-catalogue all my books (whew; way down on the priorities list, but it’d be nice if I could do it)

# Survive a 5 or 6 day family camping trip … no a/c (in this weather!!), no toilets, no shower, no electricity, no internet connection, not much food or drink, innumerable insects, lots of family time. Fun, fun, fun. I hope I make it back alive … and sane.
