Another 2 vials of blood later, they found I had an Epstein-Barr virus infection of the liver … whatever in the world that means.
“EB Virus” has been splattered on 6 times.

epstein-barr isn’t the same as mono..my dad got it (the former) years ago. emeth, i hope you’ll be feeling much better very soon.

No way! Epstein-Barr! Though a very real disease, Epstein-Barr became a popular diagnosis in the late 90s. It was kindof like ADHD - totally fashionable. =)
On a more serious note, I had a friend who had Epstein-Barr for a long time, and it was a great hardship to him. I am keeping you in my prayers!

It sounds like what’s called the kissing disease: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Infectious_mononucleosis
in which case you’ve probably been told to take it easy for some time while you fully recover.
