Six Teeth At A Time

As easygoing as her maple-syrupy smile may look, my little girl does not like to do anything the easy way. She popped 6 teeth at the same time (4 on top, 2 on bottom) a few weeks after her 1st birthday. She’s now working on 6 more.

She has started jabbering a lot. We don’t understand most of it but realized today she has been calling us “Emeh” and “Beh” for a while even though even we call each other “Mama” and “Daddy.” She loves anything electronic, especially cell phones, and will pick them up and say “Hi” over and over and over again. We gave her an old cell phone but she won’t play with it unless it’s charged and turned on. We just found out it can be used to make 911 calls even though we’re not paying for it or anything. Here’s hoping she won’t actually dial it though she’s come close. *sigh*

Mother & Daughter

A couple of the very, very rare pictures I have of me and Rinah … thank you, Peter.

In the footsteps of Alexander the Great Tour

I have wanted to do this for so many years … anyone have an extra $10,000 for me? It’s a 19-day tour across Turkey and the tour guide is an archeologist/historian. *sigh*
