I just wrote a great big huge long page about babywearing in response to Dawn’s question.

And while you’re here, do any of you know how to do this tie? I’ve never seen it before and I want to try it. And in case you’re wondering, the wrap is a Didymos Violet Waves.

Update: Of course, Kristen knew about this tie, LOL. Here’s a good video of how to do it. And when I was trying to do this from memory this morning, I made a mistake and ended up doing a 2-shoulder version with my 2.7 m rebozo which I’m REALLY happy about because it’s so short I thought I could only do 1-shoulder ties with it. Yay!

Ben found free coffee coupons (click, print, drink) for Starbucks at Barnes and Noble so Papa and I went to get some with the babies. Rinah asked for cheesecake so Papa got her a slice. She’s also wearing her brand new outfit for this winter. So pretty.

That evening we picked up Ben from work and went to Atomic Ale Brewery for dinner where Papa and Ben tasted beers and we had bratwurst appetizer, bratwurst dinner, and bratwurst pizza. Mmm. I love beer. I liked the Plutonium Porter the best.

The next day, yesterday, Friday, we went wine tasting in Prosser. The kids were wonderful. The wine was good.

We got some pictures of Papa with the babies before we went to bed. I’m going to miss hearing Rinah run through the house yelling, “Papaaaaaaaaa.” I tried to teach her to say “Grandpa” so she learned to say “Daba” but as soon as she heard me saying “Papa” that’s all she would call him.
