I painted Rinah’s fingers and toes hot pink last week and for a couple hours afterwards, she kept coming back to me and saying, “I have pretty hands, Mommy!” or “Mommy, I have pretty toes!”
The moon was shining beautifully tonight in a clear sky and our street was lit up with moonlight so I held Rinah outside for a while and we looked at the moon and the stars. “Poofoo moo.” (Translated, “Beautiful moon.”)
As I was in the car tonight, I remembered a little talk I had with Cami a few months ago. I miss Cami, beautiful, beautiful Cami. She came to me twirling in circles and struck a princess pose.
- Emeth! I am soooooooooo beautiful.
- Yes, Cami. You are very beautiful.
- I know.
It still cracks me up. Here is Cami in a picture taken by Shilowe early this summer. Rinah looks at this picture and gets excited. “That’s Tami!”

Aaacckkk. LOL. I swear I try to teach her manners. That is a funny story. Poofoo moo is not as funny as you knife story! LOL
Stop, stop…….I try not to think about them being gone for real. They’re just on a long trip.
*sigh* reading things like this is making it difficult for me to adjust to a second boy. Whose toenails am I going to paint?
