• is really tired and has two crying babies in her lap and doesn’t know how she’s going to make dinner like this. #
• is finally in her second trimester … well, probably. Actually I have no idea. #
• is hungry and looking forward to food. #
• is watching Stardust with Ben, babies, EJ, Meghan and family. #
• wishes baby boy would hurry up and get his teeth cuz he spent way too much time crying today. #
• is going out of her mind from all the crying and nursing and nursing and crying. #
• is hoping babies fall asleep and stay asleep tonight. #
• is listening to her little boy jabbering away and wondering when his sister is going to wake up. #
• loves the morning air smells coming in all the open windows … now if the babies would be happy, it will be a wonderful day. #
• really hopes for a shower today. Day to day hopes and expectations have changed a lot in the last 3 years. LOL. #
• never did get that shower … maybe tomorrow. #
• thinks it’s funny that the only thing Rinah pretends to drink is coffee. #
• wants to slit her wrists … just burned a HUGE pot of spaghetti … huge like eat it every day three times a day for a week huge. #
• hasn’t worn makeup in so long she keeps forgetting she has it on and rubbing her eyes so now she looks all weird. Sigh. #

• is cleaning up breakfast, making lunch, doing laundry, and trying to make coffee. #
• is at her first tea party ever … Taxed Enough Already! #
• hopes her tax rebate will really show up in her bank account tomorrow like TurboTax promised. #
• Rebate arrived. Thank you, God. Now budgeting every last penny for next month before payday. Thanks, Dave Ramsey. I’m SO responsible, sigh. #

So, I went to my first tea party ever yesterday and took my kids with me. I’ve never wanted to go to one because this is generally what I think of when I hear people talking about it … gag me with a spoon till I die.

We went to a Tax Day Tea Party. I wish I had my camera with me but my hands were full juggling two babies, bottled water, and a flag, so no pictures of us. This is what it was like, though.

As we walked around, Rinah kept pointing at signs and asking what they meant so I explained them to her. I’m not sure how much she understood but she did make some connections.

- What’s that, Mama?
- It’s a sign, Bubu. It says  the government takes money from people who work and gives it to people who don’t work.
- People who work? Daddy goes to work! 

I remember my mother telling me about how I would hate to pay taxes some day. That day has come. Everywhere I look, I see my money being wasted or, worse than that, used for evil and it makes my blood boil. And if I don’t pay then I become a criminal even though the government has no right to do most of what it does.

There’s not much I can do about it except teach my children so they can teach theirs and look forward to the day, however many hundreds of years from now, when evil people have all died off from killing off their own children or turning to the Truth.

So I’m off to read to my daughter and show her how to write the alphabet … again.

• just put both babies to sleep but can’t relax because she is still upset after talking to the IRS and the SSA about her tax return. #
• is beyond tired from getting only 3.5 hours sleep (thank you, babies!) but is happy her son’s eyelashes are getting really long. :) #
• is so happy the kids are playing together nicely. #
• just found out Rinah has pinkeye and that it’s super contagious. Lovely. Will try to take comfort in her long, pretty eyelashes. #
• thinks it’s funny that Rinah had so many strawberries this morning (and yesterday) that her pee turned pink. LOL. #
• can feel her blood sugar plummeting … must eat NOW. #
