  • Back from church camp on the Oregon coast. It was fun but it’s good to be home again. Missing Miwaza, Keiya, EJ, Peter, Ad…. #
  • Thane has a fever and is limp as a bag of rice. Poor baby keeps moaning. Older 2 aren’t acting normal. Seems camp sickness got us after all. #
  • Lesson learned last family photo shoot: Make sure entire family has teeth brushed and faces washed. (Photos were taken right after lunch.) #

  • Thane naps, Rinah chases butterflies, Valor shoots things while randomly shouting “EJ!” and I weed our resurrected garden. Bliss. #

  • My kids think that “Thomas!” means “Train!” #

  • R & V have fevers. All 3 kids are snot factories. Can’t breathe well so keep waking up crying. It was a long day. It’s gonna be a long night #
  • Please, no vomiting. As long as there’s no vomit, I can handle it. #
  • I have an unshakeable feeling that I’m going to be dealing with poopy butts FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE. I’m going crazy. #
  • Thane has a fever again and all the kids are coughing. Those Oregon/RCC camp germs are mighty powerful. #
  • R: “Are you having a girl baby, Mama?” Me: “I don’t know. You need to ask God.” R: “God, can Mama have a girl baby? … Mama! He said yes!” #
