What kind of parent am I striving to be? Even though most of what I have ended up doing over the last 5 years is called attachment parenting in popular culture, I have biblical and theological reasons for what I’m doing.
How am I going to educate my children? Some call it Hebraic education. I don’t know what to call it yet. It’s still mostly theory. My children are still a bit young to put a lot of this into practice but they’re growing so fast. Here are some things I have read and will re-read to prepare myself for teaching them.
- The Case Against Western Civilization (James Jordan)
Why Ben and I are not going for so-called “Christian classical” education.
- Making Room (Peter Leithart)
About a perichoretic lifestyle (which indirectly relates to attachment parenting, babywearing, etc.)
- It Takes A City To Raise A Child (Tim Keller)
Why we believe it is so important to raise children, especially my children, in a city.
